AI song generator with vocals
Updated 26 October 2026
Zonik is an AI song generator that makes whole songs with vocals from a description. Write what you want to hear (the mood, the story, the instruments, the kind of voice) and a full song comes back in about a minute: verses, chorus, lyrics and a singer, in one performance.
Where Zonik is different is what happens next. The song opens in a studio in your browser, where you can loop and reorder its sections, mix it, record your own vocal over it and take it into your own software. Most generators stop at the download button. This one starts there.
Make a song free: two songs a month, no card needed.
How to make a song with AI
- Describe the song. A sentence is enough: “a slow piano ballad about leaving a city at dawn, one soft voice”. Add genres, pick the kind of singer, or add up to ten reference pictures when the sound lives in an image.
- Choose the words. Let Zonik write lyrics that match your description, or paste your own. See turning your lyrics into a song.
- Hear it in about a minute. The whole song is rendered in one pass, so the key, the tempo and the voice hold from the first verse to the last chorus. Songs run up to about three minutes.
- Shape it. On a paid plan, open it in the Studio: trim, loop and rearrange sections, mix with EQ and effects, or record your own vocal. To sing without an AI voice underneath, generate an instrumental first; vocal separation is currently unavailable.
- Release it. Publish it to Discover, download a WAV, or take the tracks and project files into your DAW.
What you can make
- Pop, rock, R&B, soul, hip-hop, rap, trap, electronic, lo-fi, jazz, folk, country, classical, Latin and more: pick one or mix several.
- Songs with a lead vocal, or instrumentals with no vocals at all.
- Songs for a person or an occasion, like a birthday song with their name in it.
- Verses for an AI rap track, with your own bars or written for you.
Who owns a song you generate
Your plan sets the rights: personal use on Free, commercial use on Creator and Pro, and commercial plus sync (film, TV, games, adverts) on Studio. Rights are not the same as copyright, and purely AI-generated material may not be protected by copyright in many countries. Writing your own lyrics and singing the vocal yourself is what gives a track real human authorship.
Every song carries SynthID, an inaudible watermark from Google that marks it as AI-generated. It survives re-encoding and can’t be removed. Each song also comes with the disclosure details music distributors ask for.
Free and paid plans
The free plan makes two songs a month with no card needed, so you can hear what it does before paying anything. Paid plans add Studio editing and recording, WAV downloads, more songs each month and commercial rights. Vocal separation is currently unavailable. If a render fails, the song goes back into your allowance automatically.
Common questions
Is there a free AI song generator with vocals?
Yes. Zonik’s free plan makes two full songs with vocals every month, with no card needed. Paid plans add more songs, downloads and the Studio.
How long does it take to make a song?
About a minute for a song of up to about three minutes.
Can I use my own lyrics?
Yes. Paste them in and they are sung as written. Or let Zonik write them from your description. See lyrics to song.
Can I sing on the song myself?
Yes, on a paid plan. Generate an instrumental, then record your own take over it in the Studio. Vocal separation is currently unavailable, so a song with an AI singer does not automatically come with a separate backing track. See make a backing track and sing it yourself.
Can I release the songs on Spotify?
On Creator, Pro and Studio you have commercial rights, so yes, through a distributor. Distributors ask whether a song is AI-generated; every Zonik song comes with that disclosure ready.
Which AI model makes the songs?
Zonik uses Google’s Lyria music models, which is why every song carries Google’s SynthID watermark. Zonik is not affiliated with Google.
