AI rap generator: beats, verses and your own bars
Updated 26 October 2026
Zonik makes rap, hip-hop and trap tracks from a description: the beat, the flow, the mood and what the verses are about. You hear a full track, with the rapper, in about a minute.
Then make it yours: make a new version with your own bars, or generate an instrumental and record your own verse over it in the Studio on a paid plan.
Make a song free: two songs a month, no card needed.
How to make a rap song with AI
- Describe the beat: “dark trap, slow 808s, sparse piano” or “’90s boom-bap, dusty drums, jazz sample feel”.
- Choose the words. Let Zonik write verses from your story, or paste your own bars.
- Hear the track in about a minute.
- Rework it. Make a new version with a sharper hook or a different flow, or, on a paid plan, open it in the Studio to cut and rearrange sections.
- Spit your own verse. Generate an instrumental and record yourself over it in the Studio on a paid plan. Vocal separation is currently unavailable, so an existing rap track does not automatically come with its beat on a separate track.
Getting a better flow
- Shorter lines give a tighter, punchier flow; longer lines sound rushed.
- Repeat the hook word for word each time so it sticks.
- Name the tempo or feel in the description (“half-time”, “double-time on the second verse”).
- Want just the beat? Make an instrumental and write to it.
Rights
Free is for personal use. Creator and Pro give you commercial rights to release your tracks; Studio adds sync for film, TV, games and adverts. Writing and recording your own verse is what gives a track real human authorship.
Common questions
Is there a free AI rap generator?
Yes. The free plan makes two tracks a month, rap included, with no card needed.
Can it write rap lyrics for me?
Yes. Describe the story and the mood and Zonik writes the verses and the hook. You can edit them for the next version.
Can I get just the beat?
Yes. Choose instrumental when you generate the track. Vocal separation is currently unavailable, so you cannot remove the rapper from an existing track here.
Can I make it sound like a famous rapper?
Zonik isn’t made for copying real artists. Describe the style, the era and the energy instead.
