Birthday song generator: a song with their name in it
Updated 26 October 2026
A birthday song nobody else has: their name in the chorus, the story of how you met in the verses, in the style they actually listen to. Describe it to Zonik and hear it, sung, in about a minute.
It works the same for anniversaries, weddings, retirements, a new baby or a friend who needs cheering up.

How to make a birthday song
- Pick the style they love: a country singalong, a soul ballad, a pop-punk shout or a lullaby.
- Write a few lines about them: their name, their age if they won’t mind, the in-jokes, the dog, the terrible car.
- Let Zonik turn that into lyrics, or write the lyrics yourself for full control over every word.
- Hear it in about a minute. Not right yet? Make a new version with a changed line or a different mood.
- Share it. Publish it and send the link, or on a paid plan download a WAV to play at the party.
Ideas that work
- Name the person in the first line of the chorus so it lands every time it comes round.
- Use one specific memory per verse. Details are what make people laugh or cry.
- Ask for a choir or a crowd on the last chorus so the room can sing along.
- Make it yours. Generate an instrumental and, on a paid plan, record the vocal yourself. Vocal separation is currently unavailable, so you cannot remove the singer from an existing version.
A note on “Happy Birthday to You”
Zonik makes new songs from your description; it doesn’t re-record existing songs. Write your own birthday lyrics and you get something that belongs to the person you made it for.
