How it works

Writing a better description
- Give a situation, not a theme: “texting an ex at 2am and deleting it” beats “a song about heartbreak”.
- Add one or two concrete details (a place, an object, a name) for the lyrics to build on.
- Say the point of view: first person, a letter to someone, a story about someone else.
- Say how it should end. Hopeful? Unresolved? A twist in the last line?
